What happens at a men’s Bible study group?
Bible study groups meet weekly for about 75 minutes. During that time, you’ll likely share a meal, enjoy a Bible study lesson, and engage in table group discussion. Most men choose to sit at the same table each week, allowing them to build deeper connections with the same group of guys.
Do I need to be Christian to join?
You do not need to be Christian or actively attending a Church to join MANUP. We welcome men from all walks of life and believe every man can gain invaluable wisdom from the Bible's teachings. We strive to be a place for you to be known, heard, and loved without any judgment or shame.
Does MANUP replace my Church?
No! MANUP is not a replacement for Church. In fact, we encourage men to find a Church home. Here is a list of our partner Churches if you are looking to join a Church near you! Or you can visit our resources page for more information.
What’s the difference between watching online or joining a group?
Our online Bible study curriculum is always free and conveniently accessible from anywhere. You can find all MANUP series here. But there's something different about gathering at the table weekly, and connecting with other men in person. We strongly encourage you to find a group near you.
I’ve watched all the courses online. Now what?
MANUP is always working to create more original series for you to enjoy. If you've already watched every MANUP series, a big thanks for your support and interest. We still encourage you to join a group so you can take your journey one step further.
Where do I access free workbooks?
Notes for each series are free to download and can be found at the top of each individual series page, or you can access all series notes here. High-quality, spiral bound workbooks are also available for purchase at the MANUP store.
I have a problem with my current group. Who can I talk to?
If you're having an issue with your current group, accessing our content, please let us know by emailing us at connect@manup.org. We are always here to help, and want to ensure the best experience for the men in our community.
There’s no group in my area. What should I do?
Our community is growing fast, but there are still some areas where a MANUP group hasn't been started yet. This could be your sign to start a group of your own! Not sure you're ready to lead? Enjoy all MANUP series online from the comfort of your home.
I’m in a group but still struggling. Where do I turn?
If you've been enjoying our free curriculum or meeting in person weekly but still feel you need extra support, we got you. Visit our resources page to find therapists and counselors, help with addiction and recovery, job search tools, churches near you, and more.
